Eleanor Roberta Scott (born 23 July 1951) is a Scottish politician and medical doctor. She is a former Scottish Green Party Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Highlands and Islands. ==Background and career== She was born in Inverness in 1951 and educated at Bearsden Academy.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Debrett's People of today: Eleanor Roberta Scott )〕 She studied at the University of Glasgow, graduating with a MB ChB.〔 She worked as a community paediatrician in Inverness 1980−87 and in Ross and Cromarty 1987−2003, helping to provide a service for special needs children in the Scottish Highlands.〔 Since joining the Greens in 1989, Scott has campaigned on many issues, most recently against the building of new incinerators, GM crops in the Black Isle and the movement against war in Iraq.
